Todd Lab Herpetolgy and Wildlife Conservation

We are interested in understanding the factors that affect the persistence of wildlife species and populations and in understanding how wildlife respond to environmental change. Research in my lab has a conservation focus and is centered on the causes and remediation of wildlife declines. Most of us in the lab focus on reptiles and amphibians, although we are all broadly interested in natural resource conservation as a whole.

Some current research projects include:

Western Pond Turtle Conservation and the Impact of Non-native Turtles

Head-starting, Habitat Selection, and Space Use of Mojave Desert Tortoises

Examples of past projects:

Ecology and Invasion Risk of Non-native Watersnakes in California
